So, I've seen it tonight.
I admit having rather liked it until quite late - I was even considering buying all of the 8 movies once 7.2 is released on DVD... and then the last half hour of the movie just killed it. I was both bored to tears and highly amused at the prolonged HP/Voldy confrontation. I actually laughed loud, and the Epilogue was as epically silly as it was in the book.
One thought though - Alan Rickman is genius. He managed to pull off the "Snape being in love with Lily" bit (that I hated in the book) in such a wonderful way that I believed, and I cried. What an incredibly great actor. *bows*
Oh, and one more thing - I loved how Voldemort felt the destruction of the Horcruxes in the movie. For a fleeting moment I truly pitied him, when I imagined the rising panic he must feel. Something I never felt in the book for sure. Still, it was just a moment, and after that he was back to his comic self again. :-)
