Somewhat muddled musings
Jul. 15th, 2011 02:49 pmWith HP7 in the cinemas right now, I can't help but feel a bit nostalgic. How can the time fly so fast? It certainly doesn't seem like 10 years ago from the first movie. I admit I gave up on the films after the second installment and only saw part 6 by incident (and was very pleasantly surprised by it), and I'm not really sure I want to see the Deathly Hallows.
So 10 years have passed since the time when I still believed Voldemort might actually evolve into someone of Vader's or Palpatine's scale, only to find myself immensely frustrated with OoTP, HPB and DH (and not just because of the annoying villain)... It really is something to create a negative character I feel like punching on the head so that I don't have to bear with his horrible whining. :-)
10 years ago I was still writing fanfiction and running a related website, and when I tried to look for some fanfic yesterday I found out I no longer know the right places or authors.
10 years ago I was still a huge HP fan and kind of miss it.
This post isn't very coherent, but I've been out of practice, and at least it's not long.
